MCJ Consulting has nearly 40 years of experience in the coordination of surgical skills courses, ranging from one-on-one mini-labs to large scale multi-station labs involving multiple companies. MCJ Consulting also specializes in the coordination of surgical skills courses outside of traditional laboratory environments, and in international locations.

MCJ Consulting Surgical Skills Management will:
  • Manage laboratory specifications including plumbing, electricity, infectious control, local lab assistants, fluid control, set-up and breakdown
  • Arrange for necessary workshop equipment with industry, including completion of grant requests and compliance documentation as necessary
  • Provide on-site laboratory management and necessary expert staffing by nurses and physician assistants
  • Arrange for the procurement and disposal of anatomical tissue to insure a high quality, adequate supply well in advance of the courses
  • Provide all necessary disposables, instruments and lab devices as required
Surgical Skills Education
  • Consult with directors and faculty to define workshop objectives, schedules and requirements
  • Provide optimum workshop environments
  • Procure and arrange for the use of cadaver specimens and Sawbones for live surgical demonstrations and hands-on workshops
  • Arrange for workshop surgical equipment and instrumentation
  • Arrange for protective wear and cleaning supplies
  • Coordinate audiovisual requirements
